Sefton Station Upgrade

Gartner Rose was engaged to complete an easy access upgrade to Sefton Station as part of the Sydney Southern Freight Line Station Modifications project.

Works included the construction of three lift shafts, demolition of existing footbridge, erection of a new footbridge over the running lines, new stairs, construction of a new Family Accessible Toilet, electrical upgrade, lighting and CCTV upgrade, plus installation of tactiles to the platforms.

Significant works around the station included new crossings, paths, bus stops, lighting and new carparking.

All works were completed without interruption to the station operations.
