Southern Sydney Freight Line (SSFL) Station Modifications

Gartner Rose was appointed by the Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) as its partner to modify stations and precincts affected by the construction of the new Southern Sydney Freight Line.

This extremely complex project involved simultaneously working on ten different railway stations whilst ensuring that these stations remain fully operational despite the modifications to the stations and the new freight line being constructed adjacent to the stations.

Gartner Rose worked alongside other rail industry experts such as John Holland Rail, Westinghouse and the O’Donnell Griffin group.

The stations under the scope included:

  • Cabramatta Station
  • Campbelltown Station
  • Carramar Station
  • Casula Station
  • Leightonfield Station
  • Leumeah Station
  • Macarthur Station
  • Minto Station
  • Sefton Station
