Successful WE18 Possession at Beecroft Station Upgrade
We are delighted to advise the safe and successful utilisation of the WE18 track possession over the weekend of the 30th and 31st of October at Beecroft Station.
Over the possession weekend, 123 persons worked 1192.5 total hours to complete 100% of the work required. The station was ready for commuters by Monday morning.
Gartner Rose undertook the regrading and resurfacing of the platform at the city end. It involved the installation of all platform furniture. Including 856m2 of platform regraded area, approximately 167m3 asphalt, and sub-base removed. Five excavators (1.7t, 2 x 2.5t, 3.5t & 14t), two Hi-Rail Hydrema’s, one Hi-Rail EWP, Hi-Rail Hi-AB, and Hi-Rail Tilt Tray. The installation of three louvers to Lantern Building, cut-over of comms and CCTV to permanent SSER Room.
