We are delighted to advise the safe and successful utilisation of the WE50 track possession over the long weekend of the 12th, 13th and 14th of June at Ourimbah Station.

Over the possession weekend, 141 persons worked a total of 1,405 hours to complete 100% of the work required and the station was ready for commuters by Tuesday morning.

As part of the Possession WE50 at Ourimbah Station, Gartner Rose undertook:

  • Over 350m2 of platform prepped and compacted for asphalt
  • 40T of asphalt laid by hand on platform 2 within 6 hours
  • Approximately 57,000 tactiles installed throughout the weekend
  • Successfully completed a major electrical upgrade
  • Successfully removed the temporary ramp and opened the new permanent ramp
  • Successfully completed around 80 linear metres of high-level caulking
  • Successfully completed the roof safety system on the new waiting structure
  • Successfully prepped for landscaping around lift 1

The possession was finished with zero FAI’s, MTI’s, LTI’s or incidents.

Congratulations and thank you to the Gartner Rose staff, Transport for NSW project team, our subcontractors and suppliers for the effective utilisation of Possession WE50 at Ourimbah Station.
