Argyle and Cleland Bond Stores
The Argyle and Cleland Bond Stores is a heritage listed commercial building representing Sydney’s history, containing significant remains of the one of the earliest buildings from c1826.
This project was undertaken in a live environment, with works carefully planned to ensure minimal impact on the patrons of the restaurants, bars and places of public entertainment, as well as the building tenancies. Works were completed during night shifts (following the closure of the bars and restaurants) and day shifts before the venues opened.
The scope of the works included a complete wet and dry fire system upgrade, with associated works including new emergency and exit lighting building repairs, remediation works and installation of signage. A complete dry fire system upgrade was completed including an audit of existing services, replacement or modifications to existing services and the extension of the system to new areas.
